[MEDIA=21] BJ Pfeifer was selected as one of the top 24 to participate in this INDY Driver Search for Colorado Indy LLC. We each flew down to Texas for a one day trial in a 2006 IRL Indy Car at Grandsport Speedways Road Course (11/2007). Video is shot from the pit lane of one of BJ’s first test laps. Powered by the 750hp Aurora V8. Top speed was 173mph on the back straight. The Top 8 will be selected in the next few weeks and they will race against each other in Indy Cars at 6 different track around the Southwest and the ultimate winner will get a ride in the 2008 IRL Pro Series. This all is also being filmed for a reality show called SPEEDWAY DRIVER SEARCH “The Rookie” |
